Services from Med Minds Psychotherapy
Here is a list of our current costs and options. If you require further details, please contact us via our contact page. Payment details will be given to you once confirmation of therapy bookings is made.
Consultations
Consulting hours are normally between 9:00am and 8:00pm weekdays and only by special appointment on Saturdays. Consultations do not take place on UK public holidays and when our staff are not available or engaged through prior appointment. You will be advised of our availability at time of booking.
Please note: you may be eligible for concessions offered by insurance companies for treatment at Med Minds. You should check this out with your insurance company or advisor if you think you might benefit from that financial help, then contact us for follow up advice.
ONLINE
Online consultations are conducted using Skype, Zoom or WhatsApp video. Our Skype ID or Zoom login will be sent to you prior to any consultation. Please ensure that you are fully conversant with that online communication method and have appropriate working technology before therapy. A single session therapy and combination of therapy has a session time of 60 minutes, however number of sessions are usually half compared to CBT. All consultations are conducted in the strictest confidence. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

Face to face consultations are conducted by appointment at either of our two current locations in North West England. A single session therapy and combination of therapy has a session time of 60 minutes, however number of sessions are usually half compared to CBT. SINGLE SESSION THERAPY SESSION
SST consultations are conducted either online or by appointment at either of our two current locations in North West England. A SST session therapy has a session time of 60 to 90 minutes. All consultations are conducted in the strictest confidence. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

CONSULTING ROOMS
Our consulting rooms are located in North West England. A prior appointment is required for all face to face consultations.

Letters
Provision of letters is possible and depends on client’s requirement as follows:

Bookings
All online sessions must be booked by prior appointment following our assessment of your case. You can request appointment(s) by phoning us or sending your request by email. We will agree an appointment schedule and confirm your treatment programme by email.
Free ‘taster’ sessions are booked by calling us by phone or sending an email.
Please note that free ‘taster’ sessions by phone must be conducted at the agreed time.
Cancellations
First or Regular session cancellations for full refund – 2 days before
If you are unable to cancel through this website or after calling, a £20 service charge applies.
Please NOTE: We reserve the right to make a charge for any unexpected delays caused by a late appointment, cancelled appointment at short notice or non-functional communications technology and will advise you accordingly should a charge might become likely.
Prescriptions
These are optional. While undergoing therapy and if it is suggested that a client may need a prescription, that can be arranged with a private GP if the client wishes. Alternatively, the client can get a referral letter to their own GP with the suggestion to start medication.
Payments
Payment are made prior to therapy sessions or requested letters by bank transfer into Happy Mind Psychotherapy business bank account. Bank details will be sent to you upon receipt of your request or confirmation of treatment with us.
